Sign in with Apple or email, then allow WalkOff to read your step count from Apple Health. No GPS. No extra battery use.
Add a friend
Find friends by username or invite them from your contacts. Pick one and send a challenge. They get a push and the battle starts.
Walk more than they do
The battle runs for one day and ends at midnight Eastern. The higher step count wins. Winners earn Soles and coins.

Soles are your battle rating. Win to earn them, lose and drop some. Your Soles decide your league.

Items change the race.
One to five items spawn on your walking timeline each day. Walk to one to collect it. Use it on yourself, or on a friend.
Skateboard
Kick, push, coast. Adds 750 steps to your count right away.
Energy Drink
Your next 30 minutes of real steps count one and a half times.
Pickpocket
Swipe 300 steps from a friend straight into your count.
Banana Peel
Splat. Their score drops by 1,000.
Rubber Soles
Extra grip. The next Banana Peel does not make you slip.
Standings that reset every day.
Today, This Week, All Time, and Soles. Rankings count real steps plus item effects, so a well-timed Banana Peel shows up on the board.

Open a Drop. Climb the rarity ladder.
Every Drop starts at Rare and can upgrade up to Legendary over four taps. Legendary is the only way to get cosmetics from past seasons. You earn Drops from the Path, from your daily streak every seventh day, and in the shop with coins.
Every Drop is rolled on its own against the same table. Drops never award a cosmetic you already own.

Body colors, shoes, gloves, hats, shirts, pants, patterns, faces, and frames. Buy them with coins you earn by walking, or unlock them through trophies and the Path.

Apple Health only
WalkOff reads step count and walking distance from Apple Health with your permission. It never writes to Health and never tracks your location.
No ads, no data sales
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. The only companies that touch it are the ones that run the app: Supabase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and Apple.
Anti-cheat built in
Motion sensors verify steps in real time, and unusual jumps get flagged. You can delete your account any time from Settings.
Which phones does WalkOff work on?
iPhone, with Apple Health. Android is not available yet.
When does the day end?
Midnight US Eastern, for everyone, every day. Battles, standings, streaks, and item caps all reset at that moment.
Do I need to keep the app open?
No. Apple Health counts steps in the background. Open WalkOff to sync, use items, and check your battle.
What are Soles?
Soles are your battle rating. You start at zero, earn Soles when you win, and lose some when you lose. Your league is set by your Soles: Rookie, Walker, Strider, Pacer, Trailblazer, Champion, Legend.
Can I play without paying?
Yes. Every item and cosmetic in the shop can be bought with coins earned by walking. WalkOff Pro and coin packs are optional.

On the Drop Odds page, with the full reward table for every tier.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings in the app and tap Delete account. That removes your profile, battle history, and step data.
